Crossing the Valley—New Campus Landmarks
Two pedestrian bridges aligned with the major north-south axes cross the valley from the campus core to
University Park North, providing an essential link that is direct and universally accessible. The bridges provide an opportunity to create
exciting new landmarks for SFSU that are visible from within and outside the campus and offer dramatic views along the valley to Lake Merced.
