District Green Networks and Open Space Concept
The campus benefits from its location within the larger green space network of Lake Merced, Stern Grove, San Francisco Zoo, etc.
Also part of this network are the district’s landscaped streets and boulevards, including Sloat, Sunset, Font and Junipero Serra.
The district green space concept locates the campus within this larger context and calls for the redesign of 19th Avenue as a
gracious landscaped boulevard.
